Very nice place with excellent vibes especially on a sunny day. It’s a great place to sit along the river for a drink if you don’t mind it being slightly crowded. Friendly staff and friendly customers with a buzzy atmosphere. The interior is nice as well however it really slips on the quality of the food. We went for a Sunday roast - the beef was overcooked and tough, the potatoes were basically boiled, the Yorkshire had no salt and the apple crumble had no flavour. A real shame. I definitely wouldn’t go back for food.

Perfect position on the river-fab food and experience. Expensive - £10 for 3 hours - closest parking only downside but not surprising and worth it for good location.

An exceptionally cool little pub at high tide, seems pretty nice at any tide. The barman needs to learn what a spring tide and a neap is though.

Despite it being a rugby match day, we were still able to find a table and get some DELICIOUS fish and chips and a couple of bangers and mash, along with deserts and drinks in surprisingly quick time!

Food excellent. Only thing that lets it down is the price of the wine. Literally eye watering. Good job it wasn’t high tide…my tears would have added to the flood!

Food was lovely, the staff were really accommodating & the location is fabulous looking out into the river. Very dog friendly, although a dog menu would have been an added bonus.

Brilliant Pub with fantastic selection on the food and drinks. Our server was outstanding and took us through the menu very well, we went for the sandwich lunch option with a few alterations that the chefs accommodated very well, and the apple and cherry crumble for dessert which was massive. Would highly recommend the visit.

Saturday afternoon and was mobbed so lucky to grab a seat indoors , great pint and nice vino , had the Lancashire Hotpot for 2 which was absolutely fantastic , bags of flavour and meat melted in your mouth and a cauliflower side which was great too

Came here when visiting my daughter and the food did not disappoint at all. The Sunday roast was amazing and lots of other great choices. Will definitely come back.

We had a great time here. Came in for beers and then the high tide during a new moon got us! Water blocked the exits and we had a choice of using the pubs wellies or having another round. Most people chose the latter and we all had a great time until the water receded. Those who had to leave were ably assisted by pub staff. Apparently this happens only once a month. (Not to worry if you had to leave the water rose very slowly.)
Great time and we look forward to returning!
